JACOB BOGAART - PIANO
After finishing school, Jacob Bogaart completed his training as a pianist and conductor at the 'Mozarteum de Salzbourg'. He has studied uner Carlo Zecchi in Rome, Madga Tagliaferro in Paris, and Rafael de Silva and Claudio Arrau. Continuing at the same his soloist career, he performed several times at the 'Concertgebouw' in Amsterdam and numerous other European cultural centres including London, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, München, Salzburg, as well as at Varsovia for the Autumn festival.
He has completed several radio and televised recordings both as a soloist and as a chamber orchestra member. He has had the opportunity to play under the following presigious conductors: Vis, Stulen, Hager, Neumann, Commissiona, Delogu, Krenz, De Waart and Ernest Bour, with whome he recorded all the Beethoven Piano Concertos. He has also played in groups such as the 'Alban Berg' quartet, the 'Quatuor à Cordes Autrichien', the 'Koecker Quartet', the 'Kodaly Quartet' and the 'Rafael Quartet'. His recordings always receive an excellent reception and great excitement.
