BEVERLEY LUNT - VIOLIN
Beverley was awarded a scholarship to the Royal College of Music in London to study with Jaroslaw Vanaceck, and in Amsterdam with Herman Krebbers.
She has worked with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
In March 1998 she was appointed a leader of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra, with whom she performs as soloist.
Beverley has performed extensively around the world. She teaches in Spain and in the Netherlands, and is regularly commissioned as a composer.
She has released a solo CD of her own works ‘The Human Condition’ and has recorded the complete Beethoven sonatas. Beverley is leader of the Johannes Brahms Quartet and the Schubert Consort Amsterdam, and performs the violin-cello duo repertoire with her husband Herre-Jan Stegenga.
